WIldlife Rescue Mobile App

When a wildlife emergency call comes in, it is immediately sent to the wildlife rescue responder (WRR)
on-call who determines what will be necessary to conduct a safe and successful rescue for both the animal and the responder, as well as the public, homeowners and/or onlookers.
IF the WRR needs additional help at the scene, they need only to dispatch a call for assistance with
WROEH's own Wildlife Rescue Mobile Application and Emergency Dispatch Center. This also works for transport only calls, where an animal might need a transport from the Vet to the Rehab facility.

The app operates like any emergency pager but, with so much more. Here's how it works:
  1. You sign up with WROEH to be a volunteer for either wildlife rescue/transport or transport only. ( Training is always available for all fields of WIldlife Rescue & Transport )
  2. You give us your name, email and mobile number, and we put you into the rescue app system.
  3. You then download the Beacon Emergency Dispatch onto your mobile phone. You'll find the app in your app store (supports iPhone and Android)
  4. Set the settings (as shown below), and your ready for alerts. Make sure you allow notifications in  your mobile phone general settings. On the Beacon app settings, set ON-CALL when you are available and OFF-DUTY when your not available.
  5. When assistance is needed, the ON-Call WROEH Rescue Responder will dispatch an alert across the mobile app with all the information necessary for volunteers to see. Those who can not respond may ignore, and those who can will so indicate on the app choices. This will alert others that assistance has been covered for that particular incident. When the rescue is complete, it is closed.
    NOTE: ONLY,
